The dividend is payable Sept. 10, 2012, to holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 24. The yield based on the new payout is 4.0%.
The J. M. Smucker Company (SJM) engages in manufacturing and marketing branded food products primarily in the United States, Canada, and internationally. July 18th the company increased its quarterly dividend 8.3% to $0.52 per share. The dividend is payable September 4, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 10, 2012. The yield based on the new payout is 2.7%.
Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI) owns and operates energy transportation and storage assets in the United States and Canada. July 18th the company increased its quarterly dividend 9% to $0.35 per share. The dividend is payable Aug. 15, 2012 to shareholders of record as of July 31, 2012. The yield based on the new payout is 4.0%.
Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. (SUSQ) provides retail and commercial banking, and financial services in the mid-Atlantic region. July 18th the company increased its quarterly dividend 20% to $0.06 per share. The dividend is payable August 20, 2012 to shareholders of record July 31, 2012. The yield based on the new payout is 2.2%.
Education Realty Trust, Inc. (EDR), a real estate investment trust (REIT), develops, acquires, owns, and manages student housing communities located near university campuses in the United States. July 17th the company increased its quarterly dividend 43% to $0.10 per share. The dividend is payable August 15, 2012 to shareholders of record as of July 31, 2012. The yield based on the new payout is 3.4%.
National Retail Properties, Inc. (NNN) is a real estate investment trust that acquires, owns, manages, and develops retail properties in the United States. July 16th the company increased its quarterly dividend 2.6% to $0.395 per share. The dividend is payable August 15, 2012 to common shareholders of record on July 31, 2012. NNN is one of only four publicly traded REITs and 104 publicly traded companies in America to have increased annual dividends for 23 or more consecutive years. The yield based on the new payout is 5.4%.
Fly Leasing Limited (FLY) acquires, finances, leases, and sells commercial jet aircraft worldwide. July 13th the company increased its quarterly dividend 10% to $0.22 per share. The dividend will is payable on August 20, 2012 to shareholders of record on July 30, 2012. The yield based on the new payout is 6.9%.
