4 Stocks Paying Higher Cash Dividends
Are you looking for companies that can sustain and grow their dividend? In making that determination, a company’s Statement of Earnings is one of the last places you should look. Cash is king for the dividend investor and the Statement of Cash Flows is where astute investors begin when they want to understand the viability of a company. To succeed as a dividend investor, you must find companies that can sustain and grow dividends by focusing on their ability to generate cash. You can fake earnings, but you can’t fake cash.

6 Stocks Currently Trading Below their Fair Value
Over the last 12-18 months, there have been several prognosticators saying dividend stocks are extremely over valued. In many cases, I would tend to agree. This has been reflected in my weekly stock analyses. If so, what's an investor to do? When is the right time to start investing?

6 Dividend Stocks Working Even When I’m Not
This past week I have been vacationing hundreds of miles from my home. As with most vacations, I have not done much work this week. However, a quick check of my brokerage account shows that my Dividend Growth Stocks have been very busy this week. It is nice to know my income portfolio never takes a day off. What’s even better is the portfolio is frequently getting a raise through higher cash dividend payments.

5 Stocks Giving Their Shareholders A Raise With Higher Dividends
Dividend stocks are sometimes referred to as defensive stocks since many investors flee to them in an economic downturn. Their dividends, if sustainable, provide a minimum level of positive return. This cushions the downward pressure from the market. Better yet, great dividend companies not only sustain their dividends in a downturn - they actually raise them.

Dividend Income Progress Update - May 2014
Once again it is time for a goals/progress update. I am pleased to report that annualized dividend income increased in May, extending the streak to 47 consecutive months of increases after June 2010's decline. Since I began publicly tracking annualized dividend income in November 2007, it has increased in 76 of the last 78 months.
My goals were defined in this December 1, 2007 Investing Goals post and last updated in my 2014 Investing Goals post. Below is an updated version of the table found in the original post.

4 Stocks Growing Their Cash Dividends
Dividend growth investing in its classic form focuses on identifying solid companies with a long record of growing their dividends each year; and an expectation that they will continue to do so into the future. The focus is not solely on yield but a combination of yield and dividend growth. Often it is the lower yield, higher growth, security that will provide the best return over time.

Bonds Look Morbid When Compared To These Dividend Stocks
Even hibernating bears know that bonds have essentially been dead money over the last several years. Interest rates are ridiculously low and not likely to improve this year based on Fed. comments and the stagnant U.S. economy. What's done is done, so what should we expect to earn from bonds in the future?
